Tour the State Capitol Building. The Kansas State Capitol is open to the public 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Capitol is closed Sunday and state holidays. If you plan to make the most of your visit to the Capitol Building, you should contact the tour office at 785-296-3966 to make a reservation for a State Capitol Building Historic Tour. If you would like to make a reservation for a larger group (such as a school class), you can complete the online reservation tour form for your group.
Kansas flags are available from the Secretary of State’s office. There is a cost for the flags, and several sizes are available. You may also request that a flag be flown over the State Capitol to commemorate a special occasion. Order a Kansas flag or contact the Elections Division at 785-296-4557 more information.
